New Amsterdam Advisory Services was established by Rob Philippa,  a 25-year international operations veteran and senior executive with investments banks such as ABN AMRO Bank, The Royal Bank of Scotland and BTG Pactual. 

Over the course of his career, Rob has held a variety of senior management functions in New York, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Chicago and Rio de Janeiro. He has leveraged his industry expertise with the creation of New Amsterdam’s international partner network of specialized industry contacts, consultants and contractors in the operations environment. 

New Amsterdam provides advice, planning and implementation services in areas such as clearing & settlement, operations infrastructure, vendor selection and other support aspects in the international financial markets.  In addition to its own resources, or for specific products and services, New Amsterdam can draw on the expertise of a variety of contacts and partners in other regions, creating a "best-of-breed" offering for its clients.
